Join us for this 3-day instructional retreat on the art of rug hooking for all skill levels. You will have your choice of 3 renowned professional instructors (see Notes for bios) for the entire retreat in a small class size setting. Note, maximum students per instructor is 15, so book early to ensure your preferred teacher.

This retreat includes 4 night's lodging (private room) at the award-winning Howard Johnson Branson, breakfast and lunch provided each day. We will have a Wine and Cheese Welcome reception for all attendees. At night, you're free to explore all the fantastic entertainment, shopping and dining options in beautiful Branson!

Plan to stay around for an extra day or so and take a day trip down to War Eagle Days in Hindsville, Arkansas.This features Ozarks Artists & Craftsman with over 300 vendors. website is beaverlake.com/wareagle.

  • 3 professional instructors: Pris Buttler teaches students how to develop a pattern and the basic elements of design and lettering. Karen Durbin will instruct on primitive & hand torn patterns involving larger patterns and larger strips. Diane Stoffel Diane will be teaching the art of Color & Design in an an open class which means students chose their own patterns and wools and Diane will expertly guide you as you create a beautiful rug!
  • Students should bring their own rug-making supplies and tools.
  • Fee includes 4 nights lodging at Howard Johnson Branson with private room
