  • Cooks must comply with Branson city and Taney County Health codes for Safe Food Handling Proceedures
  • Cooks (except Iron Chef contestants) provide groceries for their grill
  • Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

  • 6:30 PM Welcome reception for cooks, dealers, celebrity chefs, BGE corporate
  • 8-10PM Block party for all attendees

  • Saturday June 12, 2010
  • 8 AM Cooks meeting
  • 9AM "Lighting of the Grill" Blessing
  • 9:30AM Gates open to public
  • 10AM-Noon Contests and Dish judging, Cooking Demos, Live Entertainment, Iron Chef Competition
  • 2:30PM Celebrity Chef Demo
  • 3:30PM Awards Ceremony
  • 4-5PM Social Hour
  • 7:10PM Branson Dinner Show at Dixie Stampede (for cook)

  • Branson Big Green Egg Iron chef Competition-Sponsored by Dixie Stampede
  • Open to all cooks who purchase the event package. Sign up will be at the Friday night reception and entered into a random drawing where 10 names will be drawn to be the final competitors. 5 ingredients will be provided (you may compliment the ingredients from your table and you may enlist up to 2 registered grill cooks to assist you). Five judges will determine the winner which will be announced at Dixie Stampede Dinner/Show, post event party.
  • Grand prize - $500

  • Booth Decorating Contest
  • Bring your canopy, tablecloth, grill mitts, hats, costumes etc… decorate your cooking station for prizes awarded for Most Creative décor depicting the Green Eggs and Jam EventBack Yard Chef Competition

  • “Back Yard BBQ Red Neck Sandwich Contest!
  • Think past pork and burgers, beyond plain & simple! Create something new & exciting to win over the SIX judges!
